“Hello Andrew,

I hope that you are well and have had a good summer.

I'm not sure that I told you but I wanted to share with you that D. is now a sophomore at USC in LA with much owed to you for helping him raise his SAT score from the 1200's to 1490!

I also wanted to ask you about your availability to tutor my daughter who is now a junior…”

“Brought me to much deeper levels of inquiry than I had ever reached when considering readings on my own. I had taken no English classes prior to this, and Andrew very adeptly drew me into discussions early in the semester in a way that gave me confidence to think critically and voice my thoughts in an unfamiliar subject, which was very rewarding.”

“Dear Andrew

I just wanted to send you a short note to say thank you so very much for the time and effort that you put into the last months, to help S. with his SATs and Subject tests.  He has come a long way, and I am pleased with his results.

But most importantly, S. really enjoyed your company, and took full inspiration from you.  He was sad that your meetings are now over.

Happily my son W. will be in need of some SAT tutoring as of September.”

“Andrew, this is truly amazing and we can't thank you enough!  Even an 800!  Finally, T.'s results are matching his obvious raw talent and enthusiasm.  This is just great news before Saturday - and also for the SATII and SATI in Dec and beyond.

It's fantastic and also slightly sad as I've felt throughout T.'s school career that no one clicked with him and understood how to teach him - his results have always been far below what he's capable of, I've never had any doubt.  It's a tribute to his strength of character and resilience that despite this he's kept slugging away and giving it his best, never giving in to defeatism, which would have been very easy - - and thrilling that he's finally found someone who understands him and knows how to guide him to his best results right away.

A million thanks, Andrew, this is really just fantastic, can't thank you enough.  Grateful for your remaining prep - both substance and exam day tips - leading up to Saturday - we'll see what the day brings….”

“Hi, Andrew, C. got his SAT scores back this morning, and - though likely still in shock - he did beautifully! He had to run off to school - I know he wants to email you himself, but we wanted to relay: Reading comp: 770; Writing: 770; Math: 720. Surprising outcome - lowest on the math – [student’s practice Math scores were highest] but, C. is so happy. And, needless to say, we're really pleased and proud, too! C. feels such relief as he feels he is done, doesn't have to take it again. (Assuming you agree?)

You should know that C.'s one comment or upset this morning was the recognition that he would then not need to see you again! You're now one of three tutors - granted he hasn't spent much time with the other two; but, C. says you are so smart, strategic, and that you are hands down the best tutor. He's learned so much from you and it has been a great quality 'tutoring experience.'

Thanks so much for everything, Andrew!”
